Fr. Thaddeus McGuire, after earning a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the Ohio State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Lehigh University worked in the field of litigation consulting for six years. He then, while discerning his vocation to the priesthood, worked for three years in Kingston, Jamaica for the Mustard Seed Communities, an apostolate of the Archdiocese of Kingston.

Fr. McGuire spent five years in Rome, Italy in formation for the priesthood at the Pontifical College of St. Bede and the Pontifical North American College. He was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Phoenix in July of 1999. His prior assignments in the Diocese were at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish , Corpus Christi Parish, and St. Thomas Aquinas Parish respectively. He has served as the pastor of St. Daniel the Prophet Parish since July of 2004.

In addition to his parish ministry, Fr. McGuire also serves on the Diocesan School Board, the Board of the Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix, the Diocesan Natural Family Planning Board, the Diocesan Priest’s Placement Board, and is the Spiritual Director for the Deacons of the Diocese. Fr. McGuire is also honored to serve as the Spiritual Director for the Archconfraternities of St. Philomena throughout the Western United States.
