Planning for Your Parish

 

  • The Easter season is an excellent time to approach your staff about Kino — the catechetical year is wrapping up, and Kino enrollment is right around the corner.
  • Registration for new students opens in May.
  • Courses begin in the Fall and follow a typical school-year.

 

Coursework

We offer several options for your staff that range in time commitment, cost, and depth:

Time Commitment

 

  • We do our best to accommodate the busy schedules of parish employees and their ministries! Choose from the Adult Faith Formation evening cohort on Tuesdays or Wednesday from 6:30-9:30 p.m. or the daytime cohort on Wednesdays or Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
  • Parish Leadership courses are offered every other Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-hour break for lunch.
  • All courses are held at the Diocesan Pastoral Center.
  • Actual coursework varies but can be expected to include some reading, homework, and papers – typically will not exceed X hours per week.

Cost to Your Parish

 

We know how tight parish budgets are, and it is important to us to provide an excellent education as affordably as possible. You cannot find a better formation program for this price!

  • Tuition for the Adult Faith Formation-Parish Leadership Combined Certificate: $1,150.00 per year
  • Tuition for the Adult Faith Formation and Parish Leadership Combined, Auditor*: $1,100 per year
  • Individual course registration: $175 for Adult Faith Formation courses and $90.00 for Parish Leadership courses (in the event that a class is full – individual course registration will not be available.)
