Supervised Ministry Experience

The Supervised Ministry Experience provides the participant an opportunity to reflect on their theological, spiritual and pastoral development at the end of year one. In consideration of the standards, and competencies for effective ministry, participants will formulate a way in which greater skills can be developed or deficiencies in their ministerial experience can be addressed. This will enable each participant to critically engage and develop personal goals and objectives in light of their unique context of pastoral experience.

Together with the Kino Program Coordinator, Department Director from the Division of Education & Evangelization and a selected Supervisor for the ministry experience practicum, a meaningful project will be developed, presented and evaluated. The participant's goals and objectives will serve as the context for the evaluation of the project. Upon completion, verbal and written feedback will be given by all those involved in the development and supervision of the practicum.
